Jean Christophe Fotso
Executive Director, EVIHDA, Cameroon

Dr Jean Christophe Fotso is the Founder and Executive Director of EVIHDAF, a research and development organization that serves the West & Central Africa region (www.evihdaf.com). He is an Executive with over 25 years’ experience in research, monitoring, evaluation and learning (RMEL). His subject areas include family planning and reproductive health; maternal, newborn and child health and nutrition; social norms and gender equity; human resources for health; and health systems strengthening.

Between 2013 and 2016, Dr Fotso was the RMEL Director at Concern Worldwide USA, leading an eight-year flagship program, the Innovations for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health. Between 2004 and 2012, he was with the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) in Nairobi, Kenya.

Dr Fotso is Adjunct Professor at the School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina (UNC) in Chapel Hill, USA. He holds a PhD in Demography from the University of Montreal, Canada.
